FAQ
You can find a public park program near you on our registration page. PSA programs at select preschools, childcare centers and elementary schools are reserved for families that attend those locations.
**Your child must be enrolled at those specified locations in order to participate.
Your child only needs comfortable clothing that allows for movement and exercise, closed-toed shoes for safety, a water bottle and a sweater/jacket in case the weather is on the colder side. No need for special shoes or gear as coaches come prepared with all equipment needed.
Our PSA classes will run for 30-45 mins (based on age group) and start with our typical introductory segments (rules, character word and intro game). It will be followed by our skills and drills segment to focus on learning and practicing the new skill, along with a quick recap of skills from previous weeks. The end of the class will simulate a "real game" amongst all the children present and conclude with a recap of what we learned. The children will be rewarded with a small prize of a stamp and/or stickers per coach's choice.
Our coaches are trained to handle most emergencies and will follow PSA's strict guidelines for reporting. Parents/Guardians will be contacted as necessary.
In the case of inclement weather, PSA will notify you of any cancellations and make up the missed class. PSA guarantees up to two make-up classes due to weather cancellation. We will utilize our reserved weeks to reschedule the missed class or choose another make-up day during the season. We generally try to notify you of cancellations at least 1 hour before the start of the sessions.
While our PSA classes will have a simulated version of a "real game" at the end of the classes, we will not be entering in a competitive league of any sorts. Our classes are non-competitive and our goal is to prepare your child for that next challenge of joining a competitive team.
While we might not offer special 1 on 1 training under our registration page, we can offer to build a private session amongst a group of specific children. If you wish to set up a private training session, you will need to gather a minimum of 5 children and contact us by email to set up your own private training camp.
